It would be an understatement if I say this is one of the best places to work. When I moved from First American’s corporate headquarters in Santa Ana, California, I thought it would be tough to get adjusted to the new place. But it was a surprise and the work environment was just perfect. There are some amazing brains at work here and the passion with which people work here just rubs off on to you.

I noticed that the manager-to-employee ratio is low which helps in giving individual attention to each employee. One thing which is assured with FAI is a real good work life balance. There are ample opportunities to learn and the latest initiative for web based training to employees is something which not many companies can boast of. Not just learning and career development, but there are enough avenues to showcase the talents in cultural and sports initiatives. Having been part of Zeal team-the cultural wing, there have been innumerable occasions to participate and celebrate in the past few years. These are memories to cherish which can’t be expressed by words but needs to be experienced.

Sometimes you are unsure of what exactly you want to be or do when you "grow up?” Well, that was me when I graduated and started looking for a job. I knew I wanted a challenge, something that would keep my attention, provide ample opportunities to grow, and endless possibilities to learn as much as I can. Joining First American (India) was all that and more. Not only was I surrounded by brilliant, friendly, and talented people, but there were so many opportunities for me to develop. Whether it was developing myself by exploring and finding my passion or perfecting the skill sets one already has, FAI’s Talent Transformation Team (L & D Team) molded me. I hit the ground running and did not have to look back ever since I started 4.5 years ago, truly enjoying every moment and experience I had at FAI. A marriage and other life changes ultimately resulted in my leaving FAI, yet I’m ever so grateful for the experiences.

I joined FAI as a business analyst and was then promoted to project and release management functions. The company gave me the tools and support I needed as I made decisions and developed in my career.
